KitchenAid Africa Mixer Valued at R14k Charity Draw at Vastly Sage Brunch Event 16 November 2024

KitchenAid Africa has once again donated a limited edition mixer to be raffled for the benefit of female empowerment. Last year we supported Journey for Change Scholars for Girls, a flagship programme with the AngelRock Project South Africa NPO for support. It is a progressive and holistic education program for vulnerable girls living in the informal settlement of Diepsloot. The program takes into account the mental, physical and social well-being of the girls, while also emphasizing critical thinking, character formation,
creativity and innovation. Through eight intentional program tenets, including academic
enrichment; advocacy; arts & culture; career guidance; gender equality/sexual
health/reproductive health; mental wellness; mentorship; and nutritional health, the scholars are propelled to complete their formal schooling at the highest level and successfully
matriculate. Moreover, they ensure a clear path to higher education and fulfilling
professional careers.
